Welcome to the Parent-Teacher's Sphere!

 

The purpose of this resource is to provide a bit of support to parents, caregivers, school teachers, staff and administrators to strengthen one of the most important relationships in a student’s life - that relationship between the parent/caregiver and the teacher/school.

 

This parent-teacher partnership is critical to the positive academic, social, and life outcomes of a young person, but it is often a relationship left unnurtured.  For this relationship to be beneficial, both parties have to be fully open to communicate and invested to work together for the best interests of the student. 

This little sphere of awareness and intentionality, sets out to highlight the natural connection between parents/caregivers and the teacher/school and to help both parties to remember, consider, re-think, re-examine, explore, and try out some basic and often overlooked strategies that might make a big difference in the relationship you have with your student’s academic and behavioral other half.
